Special Services Department

The Cameron Parish Special Education Department is taking applications for members of the 2023-2024 Special Education Advisory Committee unitl 3 pm on July 15, 2023.  The SEAC is a group of stakeholders that will advise the department in areas of policies, procedures, and resources for students with special needs.  The committee will be comprised of parents of students with disabilities, community stakeholders, and school personnel.  There will be  three to five meetings during the school year.  The SEAC will be utilized to increase the level of knowledge, support, and collaboration for families of students with disabilities.  If you are interested in applying to be part of our committee please complete and submit the application linked below. 

The Cameron Parish School Board strives to provide instruction and opportunities to all students. The Special Education Department includes IDEA, Pupil Appraisal Services, Section 504 Services, and SBLC Services.
