The Cameron Parish School Board met in special called session on this date to consider the items listed herein. The following members were present: Loston McEvers, Dwayne Sanner, Dot Theriot, Rachel Abadie, Patricia Morris, and Pat Howerton; Absent: Marvin Trahan.

Mr. Loston McEvers, Board President, called the special meeting to order at 4:00 P.M.

Mr. Jay Delafield, bond counsel, made a presentation of Cheniere LNG’s Pre-paid Tax Proposal, commonly referenced as Pilot, to members of the Cameron Parish School Board.

Questions and discussions were offered by members of the Board.

Relevant questions, some proposal options, and discussions of each were made by: members of the Board, Mr. Delafield, Mr. James Ducote of Cheniere LNG, and Ms. Margaret Jones.

Mr. Delafield provided copies of the following for the Board’s consideration: (1) Payment in Lieu of Tax Agreement; (2) A resolution germane to the “Payment in Lieu of Tax Agreement;” and, (3) A resolution denoting intent to become a participating political subdivision in the Louisiana Local Government Environmental Facilities and Community Development Authority.

On motion of Mrs. Theriot, seconded by Mrs. Abadie, the Board adjourned the meeting.
