Parish of Cameron

The Cameron Parish School Board met at a special meeting on this date and meeting was called to order at 4:30 pm, members in attendance are: Marsha Trahan, Christi Labove, Sheila Miller, John Canik, Sharon Picou and Paula Smythe.  

Members absent: Rhonda Boudreaux and Joseph Delcambre

The prayer and the pledge were led by Mrs. Picou and Mrs. Smythe.

                          On the motion of Mrs. Picou, seconded by Mr. Canik, the Board approved the agenda.

On the motion of Mrs. Trahan, seconded by Mr. Canik the Board received information regarding Change Order No. 7- Johnson Bayou High School Track Concession/Restroom/ Storage and Misc. Storm Repairs- increasing contract date by additional 7 days, as presented by Randy Broussard, Broussard Architects, Josh Martin, representative for Gunter Construction, Inc. and James Hoffpauir, Hoffpauir Architects, LLC.

On the motion of Mrs. Trahan, seconded by Mr. Canik, the Board approved amending change order No. 7- Johnson Bayou High School Track Concession/Restroom/ Storage and Misc. Storm Repairs from the original 7 days requested to allow to the end of day on February 21, 2016, amending the change order to allow an additional 24 days, as presented by Randy Broussard, Broussard Architects, Josh Martin, representative for Gunter Construction, Inc. and James Hoffpauir, Hoffpauir Architects, LLC.

On the motion of Mrs. Picou, seconded by Mr. Canik, the Board adjourned the special school board meeting at 5:01 p.m.
