Parish of Cameron

The Cameron Parish School Board met at its special called meeting on this date and meeting was called to order at 4:59 pm, members in attendance were: Robin Morales, Christi Labove, Sheila Miller, Sharon Picou, Joseph Delcambre, Randall Faulk and Telesha Bertrand. Absent: Marsha Trahan

The prayer and the pledge were led by Mrs. Morales and Mrs. Bertrand.

            On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Delcambre, the Board approved to amend agenda to include review of Policy EBBI revisions as presented by the Superintendent.

            On the motion of Mrs. Picou, seconded by Mrs. Morales, the Board approved the agenda.

            On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board received information and took action to amend 2020/2021 School Year Calendar, as presented by the Superintendent.

            On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board received receiving information and approved temporary additional staffing positions to accommodate COVID-19 conditions, as presented by the Superintendent.

            The Board received update information on COVID-19 procedures being implemented, as presented by the Superintendent and principals.

            The Board received for review Policy EBBI revisions, as presented by the Superintendent.

            On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Delcambre, the Board adjourned the special school board meeting at 6:04 p.m.
