The Cameron Parish School Board met at its special called meeting on this date and meeting was called to order at 4:03 pm, members in attendance were: Sheila Miller, Christi Labove, Telesha Bertrand, Robin Morales, Marsha Trahan, Sharon Picou, Joseph Delcambre, and Randall Faulk
The prayer and the pledge were led by Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Picou.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Delcambre, the Board approved the agenda.
The Board received information regarding assessment of property post Hurricane Laura, as presented by the Superintendent.
The Board received anticipated timeline for restoration to be complete, as presented by the Superintendent.
The Board received information regarding survey results from staff and students, as presented by the Superintendent and Supervisor Robin Gates.
On the motion of Mrs. Trahan, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board approved authorizing Superintendent to pursue a waiver with the Federal Flood Insurance Administrator as warranted, as presented by the Superintendent.

On the motion of Mrs. Trahan, seconded by Mrs. Miller, the Board approved to amend the agenda to add item 6-A addressing that the parish start virtual learning tentatively between September 28th and October 5th till possibly January 2021, as presented by the Superintendent.
On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board adjourned the special called school board meeting.
