Parish of Cameron

The Cameron Parish School Board met at its special called meeting on this date at 2:06 pm and meeting was called to order, members in attendance were: Robin Morales, Marsha Trahan, Sharon Picou, Joseph Delcambre, Christi Labove, Sheila Miller, Telesha Bertrand and Randall Faulk

The prayer and the pledge were led by Mr. Faulk and Mr. Delcambre.

            On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mr. Delcambre, the Board approved to amend the agenda to add after item #5 to consider receiving information and taking necessary action if necessary regarding Johnson Bayou High School, as presented by the Superintendent.

            On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board approved the agenda.

            The Board received update on Hurricane Laura, as presented by the Superintendent.

            On the motion of Mr. Delcambre, seconded by Mrs. Bertrand, the Board received information and approved to make repairs as needed to Hackberry High School, as presented by the Superintendent.

            The Board received information regarding Johnson Bayou High School, as presented by the Superintendent.

            On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mrs. Trahan, the Board approved authorizing the Superintendent to execute addendums for contract increases to restoration contracts, as presented by Mr. Hoffpauir and the Superintendent.

            On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mrs. Trahan, the Board adjourned the special called board meeting at 3:21 pm.
