The Cameron Parish School Board met at its regular meeting on this date at 5:00 pm and meeting was called to order, members in attendance were: Marsha Trahan, Robin Morales, Christi Labove, Sharon Picou and Joseph Delcambre

On the motion of Mr. Delcambre, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board approved the agenda.

On the motion of Mrs. Picou, seconded by Mrs. Morales, the Board approved the board minutes of the April 19, 2021 regular meeting of the Cameron Parish School Board, as presented by the Superintendent.

On the motion of Mrs. Morales, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board approved payment of the bills, as presented by Mrs. Michelle Trahan.

The Board received Financial Statement and Reports of Current Investments, as presented by Mrs. Michelle Trahan.

On the motion of Mr. Delcambre, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board approved School Allocations for 2021-2022 School Year, as presented by the Superintendent.

The Board received information on the monthly report on property income as prepared by Mr. Tom Barrett and Mr. Mike Cassidy- Cameron Parish District Attorney office.

On the motion of Mr. Delcambre, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board approved opening and awarding the 16^th sections bids that were out for bid, as presented by Mr. Mike Cassidy- Cameron Parish District Attorney office.

On the motion of Mr. Delcambre, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board approved opening and awarding of alligator egg collection rights for the East and West sides, as presented by Mr. Mike Cassidy- Cameron Parish District Attorney office.

The Board received reports on current construction bid activities, as presented by Mr. James Hoffpauir, Hoffpauir Project Management Team:

South Cameron High School Main School Restoration- Out for bid on April 15,2021- Bids to be received May 11. 2021
Administration Building Restoration- Phase I- First Floor- Out for bid mid-May
Hackberry High School- Vo Ag Restoration- out for bid May 14, 2021

On the motion of Mrs. Trahan, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board approved authorizing the Superintendent to advertise for new bids and accept low bids on currently advertised projects due to requisite number of advertising days and a need to move forward on projects, as presented by the Superintendent.

The Board received updates on current FEMA, CDBG and General Fund Construction, Repairs, and Renovations to permanent and temporary sites' projects from Hoffpauir Architects, LLC, Cameron Parish School Board's Project Management Firm, as presented by Hoffpauir Architects, LLC and Project Architects.

On the motion of Mrs. Trahan, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board approved projected personnel positions for the 2021-2022 school year per CPSB Policy GBB, as presented by the Superintendent.

On the motion of Mrs. Trahan, seconded by Mrs. Morales, the Board approved authorizing Superintendent to advertise and fill open positions for the 2021-2022 school year, as presented by the Superintendent.

On the motion of Mrs. Morales, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board approved of the extension of FERCA Emergency Paid Sick Leave through June 30, 2021, as presented by the Superintendent.

On the motion of Mrs. Picou, seconded by Mr. Delcambre, the Board approved confirmation of School Board Member training hours earned in 2020, per Statute, as presented by the Superintendent:

On the motion of Mrs. Picou, seconded by Mrs. Morales, the Board approved changing date of the June 2021 Cameron Parish School Board meeting, as presented by the Superintendent.

The Board received the Superintendent’s Report, as presented by the Superintendent.

On the motion of Mrs. Picou, seconded by Mrs. Trahan, the Board adjourned the regular school board meeting at 5:43 pm.
