The Cameron Parish School Board met in special called session on this date to consider the items listed herein. The following members were present: Loston McEvers, Pat Howerton, Dot Theriot, Rachel Abadie, and Patricia Morris. Absent members were: Dwayne Sanner and Marvin Trahan.

Mr. Loston McEvers, Board President, called the special meeting to order at 9:30 A.M.

On motion of Mr. Howerton, seconded by Mrs. Morris, the Board approved the final budget for 2005-2006 as presented by Miss Margaret Jones.

On motion of Mrs. Abadie, seconded by Mrs. Morris, the Board approved the selection of the followings members for the Parishwide School District Board of Directors:

Chairman – Dr. Douglas L. Chance (by Act 443 of 2006)

Vice Chairman - Mr. Loston McEvers (by Act 443 of 2006)

Secretary - Mrs. Dorothy Theriot

Treasurer - Mr. Pat Howerton

Member Rachel Abadie

The Board also approved the Cameron Pilot as the Official Journal for the Parishwide School District Board.

The Board was advised by a report on cafeteria provisions for the South Cameron High site.

On motion of Mr. Howerton, seconded by Mrs. Abadie, the Board voted to adjourn.
