Parish of Cameron

The Cameron Parish School Board met at its special meeting on this date and meeting was called to order at 4:03 pm, members in attendance are: Christi Labove, Rhonda Boudreaux, John Canik, Sheila Miller, Sharon Picou and Joseph Delcambre

Absent: Paula Smythe, Marsha Trahan

The prayer and the pledge were led by Mr. Canik and Mrs. Picou.

On the motion of Mrs. Boudreaux, seconded by Mr. Canik, the Board approved to amend agenda item #5 to have item read to receive information and take any appropriate action relative to the CEA/PILOT Agreement with Cameron LNG on behalf of the Cameron Parish School Board, as presented by President Joseph Delcambre.

Roll Call Vote To Amend Agenda:

YEAHS: Christi Labove, Rhonda Boudreaux, Sheila Miller, John Canik, Sharon Picou, Joseph Delcambre

Nays:

Absent:  Marsha Trahan, Paula Smythe

Paula Smythe arrived at 4:13 p.m.

Marsha Trahan arrived at 4:26 p.m.

On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mrs. Labove, the Board approved the amended agenda.

On the motion of Mrs. Miller, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board approved granting out-of-state travel to the Grand Lake High School – High School Art / Gifted Talented classes to attend the Texas Renaissance Festival on November 1, 2016. Transportation by school bus with certified driver, as presented by the Superintendent.

The Board received information and no action was taken relative to the proposed CEA/PILOT Agreement with Cameron LNG on behalf of the Cameron Parish School Board, as presented by the Superintendent.

On the motion of Mrs. Boudreaux, seconded by Mrs. Picou, the Board adjourned the special school board meeting at 6:14 p.m.
