SCHOOL LAND RENTAL, LEASES, AND FEES

The Cameron Parish School Board may rent sixteenth section lands except as otherwise provided by law, by resolution of the Board and without the authority of a vote of the electors of the township in which such lands are located.

Any request for leasing 16th section lands for farming purposes longer than the standard five (5) year lease contract, will be considered only at the expiration date of current lease contract and only after proper advertisement in the official journal of the Cameron Parish School Board.

RIGHT OF WAYS

The School Board shall consider a minimum fee as set by the Board for all requests for pipeline right-of-ways.  The Board reserves the right to negotiate said amount, at their discretion, depending on the type of land on which the pipeline is installed.

SEISMIC TESTING

A fee as set by the Board shall be charged for all seismic work to be performed on any school property.  Permission of the Board shall be granted before any seismic work can be performed.
