POLICY ADOPTION

The Cameron Parish School Board shall consider any proposed policies at a regular or special meeting, but shall not take action to adopt or revise proposed policies sooner than the next special or regular business meeting.  Only Board action taken in official meetings shall be considered as policy.

In the case of an emergency situation, the School Board may, by resolution and a majority vote, waive the second reading of the proposed policy and take immediate action.
