Meal Service Program moved to once weekly pick up

Beginning the Week of March 30, 2020, the Cameron Parish School Board will serve meals only ONCE per week. Meals may be picked up on Tuesdays from 2:00 – 3:30 pm in the following communities:

Grand Lake Fireman Center
Creole Fire Station
Cameron Public Library
Johnson Bayou Recreation Center
Hackberry Community Center

Each child will receive 4 breakfasts, 4 lunches, milk, and juice. If there are any changes to times or locations, the CPSB will notify the public.

The School Nutrition Program hopes to continue to provide meals to the children of Cameron Parish while still protecting our employees. Reducing the program to one day per week will hopefully allow us to do both. Any questions should be directed to Dr. Holly Castile at [email protected].

The Office of Emergency Preparedness (OEP) will provide assistance to the CPSB by distributing the meals at each location.

**Instructions for safe food handling will be included with the meals
