Special Education Advisory Council Information
The Cameron Parish Special Education Department is taking applications for members of the 2025-2027 Special Education Advisory Committee until 4 pm on September 18, 2025. The SEAC is a group of stakeholders that will advise the department in areas of policies, procedures, and resources for students with special needs. The committee will be comprised of parents of students with disabilities, community stakeholders, and school personnel. There will be three to five meetings during the school year. The SEAC will be utilized to increase the level of knowledge, support, and collaboration for families of students with disabilities.
