Cameron Parish teachers, staff, students, parents, and stakeholders. I hope everyone is safe and well and making tremendous progress of their own in the cleanup and recovery process!
The board held a special meeting yesterday afternoon, 9/9/20, to discuss the restoration efforts underway at CPSB’s facilities and receive a timeline for those completions. After receiving the updates, the board voted unanimously to implement a virtual learning plan for the district for the remainder of this fall semester. The virtual learning plan is tentatively set to begin between 9/28 and 10/5, depending on training of staff and the securing of necessary devices for internet use. There will be more detailed information to come in the next week or so as we polish our plan and prepare for this start.
